Machine Operators
Performs primary operations on the automated assembly and surface mount assembly equipment. Utilizes provided documentation on each piece of assembly equipment including operation manuals, reference manuals, bills of materials, engineering change notices and engineering deviations to set up SMT and operate SMT equipment. Knowledge of computer-driven machines is desirable. Knowledge of PC operations as well as basic ability to program machines and perform basic preventative maintenance. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. High School Graduate or GED and 12 months related machine experience
Assemblers
Performs the operations necessary for the assembly of electronic and mechanical assemblies of various electro-mechanical devices from prepared documentation. Utilizes and provides care of hand tools, soldering and desoldering devices, microscopes as well as other tooling used within the manufacturing area according to procedures and/or instructions. Prepares product to specifications using documentation provided to prepare, set-up and position a large number of components with a high degree of accuracy. Identifies solder defects, missing or incorrectly inserted components as well as other defects associated with the assembly of printed circuit boards. Looking for entry level as well as experienced Assemblers with IPC-610 and J-STD training. Entry level requires a High School Diploma or GED and 3 months basic mechanical assembly skills experience while the experienced levels require High School diploma or GED and 3 years of mechanical assembly and Class II and III soldering.
Material Handlers
Performs stock room operations including maintaining inventory, accurately scheduling and entering orders, resolving cycle counting discrepancies, preparing kits to fulfill manufacturing work orders, monitoring material shortages. Performs shipping and receiving operations including receiving parts, entering data, processing packages for shipping (both domestic and international), reporting daily activity according to procedure. Driver’s License in for the state of residence required. Basic knowledge of PC operations with data entry skills required. High School Graduate or GED and 18 months related experience.
Quality Inspectors
Provides inspection of components and assemblies to assure conformance of product to established guidelines. Performs incoming inspections from vendors. Capable of operating automated inspector equipment and generating reports from the equipment. Visually inspects first-article, in-process work and final product with very high accuracy, simple to very complex electro-mechanical assemblies. Reports part or assembly deficiencies to the Quality Manager. Working knowledge of PC operations and data use. High School Graduate or GED and 18 months electronics or quality related experience. IPC-610 certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
Product Test Technician
Works from prescribed methods and operational procedures to calibrate various electronic devices and basic circuits. Operates environmental calibration equipment and analyzes computer information. Maintains and updates statistical records. Reads schematics, drawings and wiring diagrams to test, troubleshoot and repair electronic devices and circuits. Knowledge of PC operations. Ability to use oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, sweep generators, RF generators and automated calibration equipment. High school or GED and 18 months related experience required.
